Mill Cottage is a fine example of Scottish holiday cottages and is available for rental on a weekly basis, commencing on Saturdays and for short breaks at selected times. The cottage sleeps four (plus a cot). Children are of course welcome, and pets are welcome by arrangement.
Mill Cottage is a charming detached holiday cottage near Dumfries, in a truly beautiful setting besides a stream in the garden grounds of Old Mill House. It has its own fully enclosed garden with access to its own picnic spot beside the stream. It lies in a sheltered location surrounded by unspoiled rolling countryside.
The sitting/dining room overlooks the stream and has colour television, DVD player, music centre and log burning stove. The well equipped kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The bathroom has an electric shower over bath, heated towel rail and shaver point.
Heating is by electric storage and convector heaters and with a log burning stove in the sitting room the cottage is cosy for year round holidays.
A cot is available for the twin bedroom if required. Children can meet and make friends with our goats, sheep and ponies.
This traditional country cottage is on one level and has been modernised to provide quality self catering holiday accommodation with one double bedroom, one twin bedroom ,sitting/dining room, kitchen and bathroom.
